Sending Promotional Code to a Friend
As a customer, you can find a promotion code in the app at certain times that you can share with your friends. With this code, friends can receive an amount that will be invested in the UpToMore fund, provided they meet certain conditions. By sharing a promotion code, you agree to these terms and conditions and confirm that you are doing this voluntarily and that the recipient is someone you know who has given permission to be contacted.
Using Promotional Code
Do you want to use a promotion code from a friend or from an advertisement? Then certain conditions apply. Only if all applicable conditions are fully met will you receive a one-time amount that will be invested in the UpToMore fund. The value of this amount and the exact conditions may vary per promotion code.
- Promotional codes may include (depending on the type) the following conditions:
- The code must be activated within a specific start and/or end date.
- The code must be entered within a certain period after creating your account.
- You have set up an automatic weekly or monthly deposit.
- You have deposited a minimum total amount (including automatic deposits).
- You have been a customer for a minimum period.
- You meet the conditions within the maximum term that applies after entry.
- The code has not expired or been exhausted (for example, due to a maximum number of users).
- You will receive the amount only after the minimum period has elapsed.
- You will receive the amount directly in the UpToMore fund as UpToMore units. From that moment on, it becomes part of your investments and its value may fluctuate. The UpToMore units you receive can be withdrawn freely.
- You do not use more than one promotional code per person (including through multiple accounts).
- The value of a promotional code may have tax implications. UpToMore advises you to contact a tax advisor if in doubt. UpToMore accepts no liability for tax obligations arising from the use of a promotional code.
- UpToMore may, at its discretion, reject the use of promotional codes by a customer.
- If fraud, abuse, or improper use is detected or suspected (such as creating multiple accounts), UpToMore may restrict or terminate access to promotional codes and/or the account (temporarily or permanently).
- UpToMore reserves the right to modify these promotional terms at any time or to terminate the promotion prematurely. If you have already entered a valid promotional code, UpToMore strives not to change the conditions unless there are exceptional circumstances. UpToMore is not obligated to communicate changes individually. UpToMore also reserves the right to apply such changes to some customers but not to others.
- UpToMore has the right to terminate the promotion prematurely.
- UpToMore is not liable for (technical) errors in the procedure or for actions or omissions of third parties, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of UpToMore.
- UpToMore employees are not eligible to use promotional codes. However, they may share promotional codes with individuals who are not UpToMore employees.
- In cases not covered by these promotional terms, UpToMore will make a decision.
- Dutch law applies to these promotional terms and conditions. Disputes arising from or in connection with the use of promotion codes will be exclusively submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
